This class is will allow a beginner to learn the basics of heirloom sewing.  We will cover day gown constructions including French seams, preparing your fabric for lace shaping. doing the lace shaping, point de Paris by machine and lace to fabric.  This class does not require you to have an embroidery machine, but if you do own one, there are plenty of locations that a little embellishment could be welcomed. All you need for this class is a machine that will straight stitch and do a zig zag. 

You will receive a PDF file of instructions that outline all the steps we will complete, as well as have access to our on line videos to make learning easy.  We will also have scheduled online chats, plus my email is always open for questions.

We offer a complete kit for this class, which will include the book with the pattern as well as MANY MANY other projects and patterns, fabric, laces, threads and stabilizers.  If you prefer we also have available all items individually.  You will receive a 15% class discount on all items for the length of the class.  Students will also receive special coupons for other discounts while enrolled in our on line school.
